Metabolic Syndrome


Metabolic syndrome is also know as Dysmetabolic Syndrome, Insulin Resistant Syndrome, Obesity Syndrome, or Syndrome X.
Metabolic syndrome is a group of conditions that increases an individual’s risk for type 2 diabetes,
heart disease, and stroke.
These conditions include increased blood pressure, high blood sugar, excess body fat around the waist, and abnormal
cholesterol or triglyceride levels.
